I loved it!
The food was great and was a bargain. The buttermilk pie was great. I had to have a slice simply because I never see it anywhere else. I picked a loaf of fresh bread and the sliced it on an antique bread slicer for me. I also brought home a loaf of pumpkin bread for my wife. I will be back....

One of my favorite restaurants in Lampasas, a friendly little town on 183. Choose the cafeteria line for a heaping helping of homemade comfort foods til 2p.m. or order from the menu for all things Americana diner. Leave room for the homemade pies. Meringue on pies is easily 3 inches tall. Be sure to check the bakery counter for cookies, pastries & homemade breads. You can afford to take some of these goodies along for later as prices are very reasonable.
